All former civilian governors of Kebbi state, Sen. Muhammad Adamu Aliero, Sa’idu Usman Dakingari and Sen. Atiku Bagudu, have renewed their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Nasir Idris to continue with their good works beyond 2027.

A gathering of stakeholders of the APC under Governor Nasir Idris, converged on the Presidential Lodge, Birnin Kebbi, Tuesday, to reaffirm loyalty and cooperation to the ruling party at state and national levels.

Two other senators who defected to APC; Sen. Dr. Yahaya Abdullahi and Sen. Garba Musa Maidoki and Sen. Muhammad Adamu Aliero, mounted the rostrum to voice out unshakable support to the duo as they navigate the waters of good governance.

“My defection to the APC is to facilitate development under our leader, President Tinubu at the federal level and in Kebbi under Governor Nasir Idris. 

“I am a staunch supporter of President Tinubu, entreaties were made to me in good faith to return to the APC to join hands in accelerating the pace of development and growth which tallied with my penchant to serve our people”, Aliero emphasised.

On the occasion, Governor Nasir Idris inaugurated the Tinubu/Kaura 2 Times Committee, under the Chairmanship of the Managing Director, Rima River Basin Development Authority, rtd. deputy Comptroller-General of Customs, Abubakar Gari Mallam.
